Coach Cameron Dupriest
Coach Cameron Dupriest is a proud husband and father of two children. Currently residing in Platte County with his family, Cameron was born and raised in Southern California. Cameron works with the United States Forest Service with Fire & Aviation Management as a Project Manager. Cameron is the current Vice President and a founding member of the KC Riverdawgs.
Cameron grew up in Southern California, playing sports year-round. His main focus during high school was sports and academics; excelling at both. Cameron played Division 1 CIF Baseball in high school and Graduated from high school with Honors. Throughout his high school and early college days Cameron worked with Pitching Coach Tom House. He played Division 2 Collegiate Baseball at the University of California, Davis; completing his Bachelor’s Degree in 2005. While Cameron was pursuing a Teaching Credential he began working seasonally as a Wildland Firefighter with the USDA, Forest Service. After serving a year on the Mendocino Hotshots in 2007 he decided to pursue Wildland Firefighting and Land management as a Full time career. Throughout his career Cameron has pursued opportunities to grow and lead within the organization; he completed the Forest Service Middle Leader Program in 2017 and most recently joined the ranks of Fire Leadership for Fire and Aviation Management.
To that effect, as a Coach, Cameron emphasizes hard work and leadership on the baseball diamond to all of his athletes. He challenges all players to lead by example through hard work and determination.
